The Integrated Research Network in Perinatality of Quebec and Eastern Ontario (IRNPQEO) is a network of researchers working in a number of disciplines that focus particularly on issues related to Mother and Child health.
The 3D study is particularly interested in four main themes in perinatal research and also includes interdisciplinary projects.
In Quebec, the degree of readiness of children entering kindergarten and grade 1 varies greatly across areas of their development.

The IRNPQEO Biobank is made up of over 200,000 biological samples collected in the course of the 3D study.
Over forty related papers have been published so far, and many are in preparation or were submitted to scientific journals.

The scope of the data and biological specimens in the Biobank makes this research platform a significant resource for future research related to the progress of pregnancy and the impact of maternal and father health on child development.
